Casino Regina in the historic Union Station building

Regina, Saskatchewan · Independent review

Casino Regina

A characterful venue in Regina's grand old railway station, with a busy show lounge and a good restaurant. Stay at one of the downtown hotels next door.

The venue

Casino Regina is in the city's former Union Station, built in 1911 and 1912 to bring the Canadian Pacific and Canadian Northern passenger services together. A 1931 expansion added the Tyndall stone facade and the grand concourse. Passenger service ended in 1990, the building was designated a heritage property in 1991, and it reopened as Casino Regina on January 26, 1996 after a $37 million conversion.

It is run by SaskGaming, a provincial Crown corporation.
