Casino de Montréal
Architecture is the draw here: two Expo 67 pavilions on an island in the St. Lawrence, with skyline views, a cabaret and free parking. Stay in the city.

The venue
Casino de Montréal opened on October 9, 1993 in two landmark buildings from Expo 67, the former France and Québec pavilions, joined by a bridge. They stand in Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Notre-Dame, across the water from the Old Port. It is run by Loto-Québec.
Where to stay
There's no hotel on site. Loto-Québec is building one on the grounds, to be managed by Germain Hotels, but no opening date is confirmed. For now, most visitors stay downtown or in Old Montréal, a short metro and bus ride away.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 5 am the next morning, and around the clock from 9 am Friday to 5 am Monday. Open on statutory holidays. The Pavillon du Québec keeps shorter hours: 1 pm to 2 am Sunday to Thursday and 1 pm to 3 am Friday and Saturday.
Dining
- Le Montréal: seafood and grilled meats from Québec producers, in tasting portions (Pavillon du Québec)
- Pavillon 67: Montréal's largest buffet, with city views (Pavillon de la France, level 5)
- L'Instant: casual food court with burgers, smoked meat and poutine, open late
- Le Jardin: a seasonal summer patio with live music
All restaurants and bars are 18+.
Shows and events
The Cabaret du Casino hosts music, comedy and cabaret shows. Tourisme Montréal lists a capacity of about 820 in theatre layout.
Getting there

The casino is accessible for people with limited mobility. Ask a security guard at the entrance for a wheelchair. They can't be reserved, so availability isn't guaranteed.
Age and ID
Entry is 18+ in Québec, including the bars, restaurants and Cabaret. Anyone who looks under 25 may be asked for government photo ID.
